How Long Do They Last?

Dermal fillers will go away over time; you need to make follow-up appointments for continued results.
  • JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA™ XC (Cheeks) - up to 2 years with optimal treatment
  • JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA™ XC (Chin) - up to 1 year with optimal treatment
  • JUVÉDERM® ULTRA™ XC (Lips) - up to 6 months with optimal treatment
  • JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS™ XC (Cheeck, Chin, Nasolabial Folds, Marionette Lines) - up to 1 year with optimal treatment

Before, During, and After Treatment

Before

  • Before your injection appointment, you will have a consultation with our medically licensed provider to answer any questions about your appointment. Be sure to visit our Facebook and Instagram pages to check out our current specials.

During

  • During your treatment session with fillers, a topically applied numbing cream may be provided to ensure optimal comfort. Your provider will answer any questions you may have to ensure your optimal results during and after your appointment.

After

  • After your appointment, you may experience some tenderness, redness, and swelling, which should resolve within 72 hours. A cold compress may be applied to the injection area to reduce swelling. Avoid touching the area up to 6 hours after your appointment, and then gently clean with soap and water.

Fillers gradually wear off, so follow-up visits are needed to maintain results. With optimal treatment, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA™ XC can last up to 2 years in the cheeks and up to 1 year in the chin, JUVÉDERM® ULTRA™ XC in the lips up to 6 months, and JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS™ XC up to 1 year.
